The Municipal Band of Allentown

Eric J. Rosenblatt has been a member of the Municipal Band of Allentown since 1992 and assistant conductor since 2003. He is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. At West Chester he was a member of the Golden Rams Marching Band, the Concert Band, the Symphonic Band, the Statesmen Jazz Ensemble, and the Wind Ensemble. He has also done graduate work through the University of the Arts at Villanova University.

Eric has been a professional musician on trombone, euphonium, and tuba in the Lehigh Valley for over twenty years. In addition to the Municipal Band, he played with the Macungie Band from 1989 to 2005, and has been a freelance musician at many area churches. Eric currently teaches instrumental music at Tracy and Shawnee Elementary Schools. Prior to teaching in the Easton Area School District, Eric was the band director at Dieruff High School in Allentown.

In his spare time Eric enjoys collecting Lionel toy trains and planning his model railroad display.
